Here is some Fun facts for minecraft, some might change due to new versions.
-If the player wears a pumpkin on their head or looks at an Enderman through a transparent block such as glass, ice, leaves, or fence posts, it will not turn hostile when looked at.
-Creepers and skeletons cannot see a player through glass (when not aggravated)
-A creeper's fuse countdown lasts a little longer if it encounters a cobweb
-It is also possible to deal a Critical hit on a fireball, since it is an entity.
-Ghast sounds were made by C418's cat.
-If the player is under/over a skeleton, it will shoot itself.
-If you damage the sheep 7 hits (3 1/2 hearts) you can get 5 wool blocks by clicking both mouse buttons at the same time while holding shears, though it requires practice as you have 1/20 of a second between each mouse click.
-Fish are easier to catch during rain.
-Boats crashing into soul sand don't break.
-No hostile mobs spawn in mushroom biomes (or underground in caves under mushroom biomes).
-By putting a pig with saddle in a minecart, and getting it off the tracks, it acts like a car. But with opposite controls.
-All cows in Minecraft are female, since they can all give out milk.
-The ability to throw eggs was added when a player said he would eat his USB if Notch added it. He did.

knew that........
i have a fun fact(not relating to MC)
- if someone was buried alive and someone dug them up and the dead bodies had blood on their mouths and/or fingers they were thought to be vampires. but because of the technology today people don't get buried alive anymore.

I agree the color is cool, I just liked it better when you could get woodenplanks from two different types of trees and stack them together. I don't mind it that much, I just don't like how you can only f\get the origanal wooden planks from the regular wood.

- There is a green robe for villagers, but it is not used. Might be used later to tell if one is female or male.
